Bringing the farm to your table

Chef Daniel Voorhees grew up in The Black Hills of South Dakota before moving to Colorado, and attending Culinary School of the Rockies, now Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. His passion stems from cooking in the kitchen with his mother, Dana. He prides himself with creating from local protein and produce as much as possible. Daniel has been apart of the culinary world for over 25 years.

Chef Daniel and Alexa opened Rustic Personal Chef Service in 2011. After settling in the Black Hills with their two kids, and gaining invaluable experience, they are now expanding this business to include a certified food trailer and full service catering.

They’ve deemed themselves a family of foodies. The experience of preparing food, enjoying a meal together, and sharing it with friends and family is one of the best!

They are excited to bring approachable fine food to the Black Hills!
